Saturday 6/4/11 - Swimming parties are fun!!

Today we were invited to one of my friend's house to swim and celebrate his daughter's birthday.  It was miserably hot so I sat in the shade a majority of the time while Jack and the kids hung out in the pool.  I didn't get around to taking many pictures because I was busy gabbing and catching up with my friends.  :)   We all had a great time and the kids were POOPED!! 


At first neither of them would get into the pool...

They liked sitting on the side, splashing and kicking around.  This little girl found a water gun and thought it would be funny to spray me with water. 

A little while later, she got brave and went down the slide they had sitting by the water.  She had so much fun!

She really enjoyed floating around the pool!  Jack helped her out at first because she was still a little scared.  She's still not tall enough to touch the bottom yet.

This little man never would get in.  I think he may have gone down the slide a few times, but he'd get out in a hurry.  He had more fun splashing people!  Fortunately, I wasn't one of them...lol. 

She eventually got brave enough to float around on a pool noodle all by herself.  Don't worry...her swiming suit also has floaty things in it in the front and back too just to be safe.

She really got good at maneuvering around the pool by herself!  I see Jack and Jacob in the back ground so I guess he did get into the pool after all!

He wanted more than one noodle.  He had to have them all!!

HI MOMMY!! 

We had a blast today at our party!  We ate good food, got to visit with great friends and party all in the same day!  What more could ya ask for?!
