Tuesday 1/19/10 - The Letter "M"

Monday, January 18, 2010 was Brianna's first day back to Pre-K after the extended holiday they had to take.  The state of IL was able to repay some of their debt to her school, but not all of it.  Until the school gets all of their money that is owed to them from the state, the kids will not be able to go on any fieldtrips.  The school's budget is very tight for the time being.  We're just thrilled that her school was able to continue the Pre-K program.  Tonight when I asked Brianna what she did in school today, she got her folder out of her back pack and got this out to show me.  Her class is presently working on the letter "M".  They practice writing it and coloring it.  She already knows how to make this letter, but what I was impressed about was that she colored INSIDE most of the lines!  WOW!  She did so good!  I was so proud of her!  For some unknown reason, she misspelled her name...she forgot the "I".  She's usually pretty good about spelling it correctly.
