Friday 2/5/10 - February School Projects

Before I went down to Brianna's classroom to pick her up from school today, I took a few pictures of the art projects they've been working on in the past weeks since they've been back at school.   Her teachers are so creative!

This is on the wall right after you walk in the door at school.  Jack told me about it and wanted me to take a picture. He was so proud to see her picture at the front door for EVERYONE to see his little girl!  I think a student is chosen each month and featured on the wall.  Brianna is the "featured" student for February.

This is also on the wall as you walk into school

They made their penguins by tracing their shoes and hands.

This is a project the kids and parents have to do together. The parents have to help the kids write a kind act on a heart they do for others.  Then they bring their hearts to school to be displayed on the wall.  This is to help encourage kids to do "random" acts of kindness.  Kindness Counts!

Every month, the teachers decorate their classroom with a theme.  Since Valentine's Day is this month, they decorated their classroom tree with hearts.  Every child has a heart with their picture and name on the tree.

This is Brianna's heart on the tree...

This is the boy she likes (Logan) heart.  Sorry, the flash makes it hard to see his face.  He's a little cutie! Brianna says, "Logan has blonde hair like I do!"  LOL.
