This recipe is an alternative to the "traditional" tartar sauce for fish/seafood. Since I'm not a total fan of tartar sauce, I jumped at the chance to make this to try on my salmon. That's what I'm making for dinner tomorrow...yum. I'm also making roasted asparagus. I've never had asparagus any way, but out of a can. I'm excited to make it this way for something different. I hope you all don't mind me throwing all these recipies at you at once. I hope some will tickle your fancy enough to make for yourself. I wouldn't put any recipe on here that I didn't feel was worthy. :D I know salmon is something that people either love or hate. This sauce can be used on any seafood (incase salmon doesn't float your boat).
This is the line up for this recipe:
1 cup mayonnaise (I like to use Hellman's Light)
2 Tbs Dijon Mustard
2 Tbs Capers, Drained (you can find these either next to the pickles or in the Italian section of the grocery story. I found these at Walmart for $1.47)
1 Tbs Fresh Lemon Juice (I used the juice in a bottle)
1 Tbs Dill
Combine:
1 c. mayo
2 Tbs Dijon Mustard
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 Tbs Dill
2 Tbs Capers, Drained
combine all ingredients and refridgerate & serve with salmon or any seafood.
