Sunday 4/25/10 - Happy Birthday!

Today, we went over to visit with my brother and his family for our niece, Khloee's birthday.  Her "real" birthday is on tuesday 4/27/10.  I can't believe she's turning 9.  WOW.  Where has the time gone?  I can remember when she was first born.  Man, time sure does fly!  It was a small gathering between our family and his.  We haven't seen them since last August.  We thought it would be a fun time for the kids to get together and play.  Brianna's been bugging me for several weeks to play with her cousin, Adan.  She said she missed him.  Adan is 7 months older than Brianna.  I took pictures of our visit today for my family to see.  Hope you enjoy them!


Right away, Jacob made himself right at home!  He climbed up on Adan's table (in his room) and started playing with his toys!

Brianna and her cousin, Adan, picked up right where they left off.  They were like old buddies.  Neither of them had any trouble snitching on the other!  **I'd like to note here that the bottle of Mike's Hard Lemonade wasn't Adan's.  It was my brother's!  I should've moved it BEFORE I snapped my picture.  Sorry!   We don't give alcohol to minors...lol. 

I swear, this child has such weird mannerisms at times. I took this picture to show a new one.  She put macaroni and cheese on top of her roll and ate it like this.  Hmm...not a combo I'm familiar with! 

My mom came out of Adan's room laughing.  She told me to come quick with my camera (gee, I think I have a reputation).  I saw Jacob all covered up, laying in Adan's bed!  Talk about making yourself at home!  Someone's sleeping in YOUR bed, Adan!

I was trying to get a picture of the HUGE cupcakes we had.  My brother decided to hold it so I could snap a picture.  He was being silly and doing a "peace" sign.  It looks like he's saying he's "29".  Nice try, Dave.  Don't we all wish we were 29 again?

I was trying to get a picture of Khloee and Adan.  Jacob decided to climb up on Khloee's lap when I was taking my picture.

Jacob heard a train and went running to the front door.  They live right across the road from railroad tracks.  Jacob LOVES trains!

I wanted to get an updated picture of all the kids together.  The last one I took was when Jacob and Lily were 4 months old.  Not everyone's smiling, but atleast they're all looking at the camera!  YAY!  The girls smiled anyway. 

Aunt Sarah said that Jacob was such a sweet boy.  She was lucky this was one of his GOOD days!  Boy, does he have her fooled!

We all said our goodbyes and went home.
