I wanted to wish everyone out there who reads my blog, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! If you're a momma, that is. If you're not, then get off this computer right now and go tell yours that you love her and give her a big ol' hug! Since I won't see my mom today, I sent her flowers at work. I wanted her to know that I love her very much! I also sent my mother in law flowers too (from Jack, the kids and I). I wanted her to know that we appreciate EVERYTHING she does for us and that we love her. Hers so happened to arrive when we were having our garage sale yesterday. The UPS guy came running up her driveway (scared the heebie geebies outta me!). She had just come back outside so I pointed him in her direction. He tried to give them to me. Now that would've ruined the surprise! I never got the chance to buy Mother's Day cards this year though. I got so busy, I kinda forgot too...OOPS! I also got a surprise too. Last night when we were unloading Jack's truck (my yard sale things that didn't sell), I found beautiful pink roses in my kitchen! It isn't very often that I get flowers from anyone, especially from my better half. I was very surprised! I had to take a picture of them so I could remember them forever.
My beautiful Mother's Day roses from my sweetie! He's so thoughtful!
My Mother's Day card Brianna made for me at pre-school.
A little poem that was put inside the card and Brianna signed her name at the bottom.
Brianna also made me this wonderful ceramec holder. She painted each flower on it herself! I started to cry when I saw it! These are the types of gifts I like best! They come from the heart! Jack said, "I've been out done by a 3 year old!" LOL. Sorry to say, but he's right. I can buy flowers just about anywhere. I'll NEVER find another one of these. This gift was the best by far! (sniff sniff)
Another flower that Brianna painted on my Mother's Day gift. I can't get over what a great job she did! I was so proud of her!
Another flower Brianna painted. She painted a different one on each side.
On the bottom, it said, "Happy Mother's Day Love Brianna" 2010
I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day regardless of where you were and who you were with!
