Sunday 7/4/10 - Happy 4th of July!

Tonight we took the kids to watch fireworks just outside a park near our home.  We learned our lesson last year.  It was so crowded and took us forever to get home due to the large crowd of people that come to watch every year.   Jacob was scared of the fireworks at first, but adjusted to the noise and loved to watch them!  He'd point them out to me and say, "OOOOHHH!!"  Brianna liked them much better this year too.  I wasn't able to get many pictures due to Jacob clinging to me.  He liked watching the fireworks display, BUT only as long as he could sit on my lap holding onto my neck with a death grip!   The noises kinda freaked him out.  This was the only picture I was able to take, but I think this says it all!  It was also the only time he was sitting in his OWN chair and not on my lap!
