Today, our niece Savannah, got married at the Hilton Garden Inn in Champaign IL. We were glad we could make it for the wedding. Bad weather was heading our way later on that evening and Jack didn't want to be gone long. We stayed for the wedding, but left right after to hurry up to get home. I thought we would stay to eat a few appetizers, but Jack wanted to get going. He said he didn't want to drive in bad weather, if he didn't have to. He said it made him nervous to drive in weather like that with his kids in the car. Yes, he is VERY over protective of them. We left in such a hurry, we didn't get to say goodbye to anyone, but Grandpa Parker. I didn't get to see much of the wedding, thanks to Jacob. After riding in the car for close to 3 hours, he was a little wound up. He was being disruptive and everyone kept turning around to stare at us. I took him outside to the lobby to keep him quiet. He was skipping around, climbing on furniture, you know...normal 2 year old boy stuff. I finally got him to wind down a bit and was gonna go back in, when the door opened up and Savannah, Sean and the rest of the wedding party came out. The wedding was over and I missed it!! BOO!!! Atleast Jack and Brianna got to see it and took pictures for me. So, I got to ride in the car for almost 3 hours just to miss the wedding. This is why we don't go anywhere. Either Jack or I end up missing what we wanted to see because one of us has to tend to Jacob. I understand he's only 27 1/2 months old, but I don't recall Brianna ever acting like that. I know, he's a boy and every child is different. It's still frustrating, none the less. Anyway, here are the pictures that were taken...
Brianna was trying to help me again, to get her brother to look my way...lol.
Grandpa showing us where to go. He has his little helpers, one on each side!
If Jacob would've been looking, this would've been a great picture! It's good of Brianna & Grandpa, though.
Our niece, Chelsea. She was one of the bridesmaids.
A friend of Savannah's, Hannah. She was another bridesmaid.
Our other niece, Nicole, was another bridesmaid. Maybe she was the matron of honor? I'm not sure.
The groomsmen & Groom waiting for the beautiful bride!
The beautiful Bride, Vannah with her dad, Steve!
Isn't her dress beautiful? (I think most of the girls there forgot it was December...lol. I can't understand why everyone wore dresses with NO SLEEVES!! BRRRRRR!!!!)
I'm guessing they're exchanging their vows here. I missed this part.
Again, I missed this part. Thanks to my hubby for taking what little pictures he could.
Dr & Mrs. Sean Holmer!! YAY!!
Brianna & Vannah! Brianna was so excited to see her! She kept saying she couldn't wait to show Savannah her pretty dress!
Sorry we couldn't stay, Vannah. We hope you understand. Atleast one of us was able to see you get married! You sure made a beautiful bride! Congrats to you and Sean! We wish you both a long and happy life together! We love you!!
