Friday 8/26/11- Happy Birthday to my sweet baby boy!

It's hard to believe that 3 short years ago, I was in the hospital having my sweet baby boy!  He has grown into a sweet, energetic, enthusiastic, fun loving, stubborn, bull headed little boy.  I love him and wouldn't change him for the world.  My only request is that he grows out of his tantrum throwing, stubborn stage he's in right now.  I was never warned that the terrible 2's would turn into the terrible 3's.  I'm praying that they won't turn into the terrible 4's!  His pediatrician did tell me that I would be lucky if this stage was over by the time he was 4.  Maybe that was my warning that I didn't take seriously?!

Since I haven't been able to get out to the store to get anything for Jacob's birthday, we had to improvise today.  Meemaw brought his birthday presents and gave them to him today.  She gave him a talking Mater truck, a McQueen folding lawn chair, a McQueen car that shoots across the floor and I can't remember what else.  Thanks Mom for the great gifts!  He loves them all!  We took him to McDonald's then went to the park for a picnic lunch and to play for a little while.   Since Brianna was in school, Meemaw had to play with him!  I think he pooped her out a bit.   I took a few pictures of our fun day...

I felt kinda sorry for him due to his foot being in a cast.  He said it was hard to run and play with it on.

Jacob on the Teeter Toter...

When he plays outside, we make sure to put one of Jack's socks on Jacob's cast.  This is an attempt to try to keep his toes clean.  He told me he can't wait for it to come off so he can run again.  Poor little boy.  :(

Going down the slide.  He said this was REALLY HOT!!

My sweet 3 year old debol!  He's lucky he's so adorable AND that I love him as much as I do!

Kyndall's 1st time at the park.  She stayed in her carseat in the stroller.  It was too hot for her to be out in full sun.  She & I stayed in the shade.

I made him brownies instead of getting a cake.  I wasn't able to go to the store, but luckily I had brownie mix!   My little man LOVES chocolate so it was a win, win!

Brianna & I sang "Happy Birthday" to him.  We were going to wait for my mom & Jack to come back inside, but the candles were melting from the bottom up due to the brownies being too hot!  He was tickled pink!

He blew out all of his candles!  Not sure if he made a wish or not though.

Happy Birthday little man!  I can't wait to see what this year has in store for you.  Mommy, Daddy, Sissy & Baby Sister love you more than you'll ever know!
