Friday 8/5/11 - Fun at the PBJ!!

I promised the kids, if they were good, we'd go to the Peanut Butter & Jam Festival today.  It was a pretty nice day, temperature wise, so I figured it would be a good day to go do some fun things.  I enjoy taking them places, when I can & feel up to it.  A lot of things wear me out nowadays, being 8 months pregnant and all.  I want them to have fun now because when Baby Sister gets here, we won't be able to do much for a while. Brianna will be in school too so our fun time will be limited for now.  I took a few pictures today of what we did while on our outting.

Brianna wanted a slice of pizza for lunch.  I asked Jacob if he wanted one too.  He said, "Nope.  I want Chicky Nuggets from Mc Donalds".   This was her 2nd piece of pizza.  The 1st one she dropped on the ground.  She hasn't learned yet about gravity and how her plate needs to be held level...lol.   Lucky for me, the guy we bought the pizza from felt sorry for her & gave her another piece.  She looked like she was gonna cry.

Both kiddos got free balloons.  Jacob was holding onto his for dear life.  He didn't want it to fly away!

The highlight of this little lady's day was getting her face painted!

Jacob didn't want his face painted.  He decided to get a spider painted on his arm instead.

They always have to feel the water in the fountain at the square.

I wanted to get one last picture of my two babies before we add baby sister to our family in a few weeks.

There was a craft booth at the PBJ that a church had for the kids to make things.  Brianna made her own noodle necklace.

Jacob wanted to make one too.  I had to help him a little with it.

He was so proud of what he made!

She was proud of her necklace!  She did such a great job!  She loves to do crafty things!

The PBJ was wrapping up so after we finished making our necklaces, we had to head to the car.  When we got to the car, I asked the kids if they had fun.  Brianna's response was, "Mommy, I had the bestest time EVER!"  That's all that matters!
