Monday 9/19/11 - Are dem ROCKS?!

While at the store the other day, I saw these tasty little things.  Knowing how Jack LOVES them, I bought them as a surprise for him.  When Jacob saw them sitting on the counter, he asked me what they were.  I told him they were candy apples.  He then proceeded to ask me, "Mommy why are der (there) rocks on dem apples?"  I looked confused at first, but quickly realized he thought the peanuts on them were rocks!  I couldn't help it and busted out laughing!  He looked quite perturbed because he was SERIOUS.  :D   I had a difficult time convincing him that they weren't rocks, but nuts.  I cut one up for him to eat.  Then he understood that those WERE nuts, NOT rocks!  Haha!
