Tuesday 9/13/11 - Picture Day

Today is picture day for Brianna!  I forgot I had this outfit for her to wear when she started Kindergarten.  I looked around at the store to find that "special" outfit for her picture day, but I couldn't find just the right one for her.  I remember, when I had picture day at school, I had to wear a "special" outfit, have my hair "just right", etc.  I even tried to curl her hair with those sponge rollers, but unfortunately this little lady's hair is stick straight (just like Meemaw's).  Even after putting her hair up the night before AND sleeping on them so the curl would stay, well, let's just say it didn't.  Her hair looked even straighter than if I were to leave her hair alone!  She has a little wave at the bottom of her hair normally, but that's it.  Oh well!  She still looks pretty no matter what her hair looks like!   I was kinda bummed out when I couldn't find a cute outfit for her.  Then I remembered this one that I had bought this past spring!  VIOLA!!  The PERFECT outfit!!  Brianna LOVES Hello Kitty right now.  I NEVER thought anything would take the place of her beloved Ariel...lol.  Don't get me wrong, the kid has to have her Little Mermaid fix every now and then.  :D
