This boy was so proud of his big sister! He couldn't wait to go watch her!
The shirt all the girls wore to cheer, along with black shorts or pants. Her shirt was so big, I had to tie a knot at the bottom. She looked like she was wearing a dress!
Getting ready to go out on the track and cheer our team on!
I foo-fooed her hair up a bit. I told her Cheerleaders are the "foo foo" type. Atleast I was anyway. :) Hey, there's nothing wrong with being like that, is there?
Before the game started, the BIG cheerleaders got all the LITTLE cheerleaders out on the track to occupy them until the game started. They were doing a cheer with them, getting them to participate. Jack was surprised that I knew this cheer AND all the words! He said, "You mean to tell me THIS cheer is THAT old?" Har har Jack. REAL funny. :D Hey, once a cheerleader, always a cheerleader I always say!
SPIRIT FINGERS!! I had Jack go buy these for Brianna to use while she was cheering. They're black gloves with red & black pom poms sewn onto the fingertips. Kinda made me wish I had thought of this when I was in school. At $5 a pop, it wouldn't have made me rich, by any means, but it would've been a start...lol. They were worth every penny when I saw Brianna's face light up when I gave them to her!
No matter what setting I put my camera on, I couldn't get my pictures to come out any other way, but dark. I was frustrated, to say the least. I know they're hard to make out, but I hope you can see her cheering in these pictures...She's the one on the very right in this one.
She's the one on the right on this one too. I was ticked that my camera wouldn't take the one picture I would've wanted more than anything. The cheerleaders did a pyramid and Brianna was the one who was at the TOP! I asked her if she was scared? She said, "Well, a little bit, but I knew I had to do it. I just didn't look down." Haha! What spirit my little girl has!
Showin' off her SPIRIT FINGERS!!
Jack looked so proud of his little girl! He said he almost cried when he saw her cheering! He asked me if that brought back memories for me? I told him, "Of course it did! I remembered doing most of the cheers they did tonight." It brought tears to my eyes watching her! She did great!
