I was TRYING to take pictures of the kids in their Christmas outfits so I can send a picture in with my Christmas cards. Brianna was so excited about wearing her pretty dress! She bugged me all morning to "try it on". She would hold it up to her (while the dress was still on the hanger) and ask, "Mommy, how does this look on me?" I died laughing at her! After I took this picture, I noticed that it looked like Brianna had a Santa hat on. I moved the Santa ornament to another place on the tree! It was such a cute picture, I hated to delete it.
Isn't she such a beautiful little girl? She's so pretty!
This is one of the Christmas pictures from last year. Look how much they've both grown!
I decided to get Jacob dressed so I could get a few pictures of him by himself and then both of them together. Well, it didn't work out like I had hoped. This was the best picture I was able to get. Jack is working today so I had to play photographer and kid chaser all by myself. Can you tell that J wasn't nearly as thrilled about staying in one spot let alone having his picture taken? This was much more difficult than I had planned.
This came right after I snapped the picture above. Brianna was trying to help me by holding her brother in one spot. He didn't appreciate that one bit!
I tried to get them sitting in the recliner. Nope, didn't work either...
I even gave him an ornament off the tree while I tried to get him to sit in front of it. Well, I couldn't even get a picture of that because he kept crawling away from me. By the look on his face, you would think I was doing something GOD awful to him. Just trying to take his picture for my Christmas cards, that's all! After trying for 1 1/2 hours to get a decent picture I finally gave up. It was nap time for the kids and I was whooped!
I did manage to get a picture of his cute dress shoes. Aren't they just the cutest thing you've seen?
Next weekend Jack shouldn't have to work so I'll have help wrangling kids for Christmas pictures. I will be getting them out, just not as quickly as I would've hoped. Keep your fingers crossed that EVERYONE will cooperate...lol!
