Sunday 12/06/09 - Oh, I forgot...

There was one thing I forgot to share with you. Yesterday, Brianna, Jacob and I were sitting at the table eating our breakfast. Out of the clear blue, Brianna told me, "Mommy, did you know that girls have pee pees? Little boys don't have pee pees they have bats." At first I didn't understand what in the world this child was trying to tell me. After a few seconds, I realized what it was she was trying to say. I would've never thought to put it like that...lol. I asked her, "Where did you hear that? Who told you that?" She put her hands on her hips (like she always does when she's telling me something) and said, "Grandma did!" Go figure. Grandma always seems to be enlightening Brianna about things. I was laughing so hard at the whole situation! Neither her or Jacob understood what I was laughing about. What made it even funnier was that Brianna was dead serious about telling me this. I told Jack about it when he got home from work. He laughed and said, "Well, I've never heard it put like that before. Leave it to my mom to think creative!" Just wanted to give you a little chuckle for the day. Bet you learned something, now didn't you?!
