Brianna decided she wanted to sit at the kitchen table and color some pictures that I had printed off of the Wiggle's website earlier. Jacob wanted to sit at the table to watch. So I thought I would give him a picture and TRY to teach him how to hold a marker. I must admit, this wasn't one of my best ideas. I think he got more on himself than he did on the paper! He was a mess! He couldn't figure out how to hold the marker. He held it backwards, which was why he marked so much on his hands and face. I tried to help him out, but every time I would get him to hold the marker the right way, he would turn it around. For some reason he insisted on having the ink part in the palm of his hand and the other part on the paper. He couldn't figure out why his marker wasn't working and Brianna's was! All the markings done on his paper was done while I was helping him. I'm sure he's too young for coloring, drawing or writing right now, but I wanted to see what he could do. Well...NOW I know!
Brianna coloring a pretty picture for me
She's concentrating VERY hard...
Jacob with his marker. I think this was the one and only time I could get him to hold it correctly!
I helped him with the few marks he made on his picture
He did the rest all by himself...
Atleast it was only ONE mark on his face and not more...lol.
This is one of his hands...Jack tried to hold him so I could get a picture of what he did. Jacob wouldn't cooperate very well.
Here's his other hand. I'm sure it could've been worse. You should see my table...it looks like it was in a marker battle and it lost!
