Saturday 1/9/10 - NOW what are you doing??

Jacob has started to "share" more of his toys with us.  He's learning that if he wants someone to play with him, he needs to share.  He's actually better at it than his older sister.  She'll take a toy away from him (that was his to begin with) and tell me, "Look Mommy, I'm sharing Jacob's toys with him."  I tell her that isn't how sharing works.  It's hard to share something with yourself when it wasn't yours to begin with!  She debates that is how sharing works, but I've got news for her!  LOL.  Kids are so funny sometimes.


                     Jacob was sharing one of his blocks with his daddy.

Daddy tossed a block back and it bounced off of Jacob's head!  He was rubbing his head!  Good thing the blocks are only made of soft squeezable plastic.

Jacob likes to climb up on this toy and stand in the corner.  I'll catch him just standing there sometimes!  Maybe he's practicing for when he gets older!  I see this happening a lot in his future!  Brianna stands in the corner quite a bit.  Just not on this toy, I move it out of the way first...lol.   Maybe he's doing it cause he sees his sister standing in the corner so much!  Haha!

Jacob likes to carry around Brianna's head bands that she got from Christmas.  She put a few of them on his head to "dress him up a bit", she said.  She was trying to keep his head still so I could get a picture.  You can see what he thought of this...

Notice the orange marker on his left cheek?  I couldn't get it off for anything!
