Wednesday 2/17/10 - Reminence of a Valentine Party

Brianna's pre-school had a Valentine's Day party on friday 2/12/10.  Since she was sick (she had terrible hives from her medicine) she wasn't able to go to it.  I think I was more disappointed that she couldn't go than she was.  It didn't seem to be a big deal.  This would've been her first party at school and I thought she'd have a lot of fun passing out her Valentine cards to all of her friends.  Monday 2/15/10, she didn't have school since it was President's Day.  Tuesday, Grandpa said he didn't see her bag with any goodies from her party.  I was hoping they would've collected some Valentine cards for her.  I told him that maybe he over looked it.  He said he would ask her teachers when he took her back.  Great news!  They DID collect Valentine cards for her!  She was so excited to show them all to me.  Some even had candy taped to them.  The only picture I even thought about taking was of her eating a Valentine sucker.  Even I'm surprised at that!  Here's the one and only picture of her with any proof that there was a school party.   Yes, I do let her have candy on occassion.  Not very often though.  Ya just gotta be a kid once in awhile!
