Yesterday, I took the pictures off my phone and downloaded them onto the computer. I don't know the dates that the pictures were taken. They're not date stamped like the pictures are on my camera. I like the date stamping because if I don't get a chance to post pictures right away I still know when they were taken. Yeah, right. Like I get a chance to post pictures right away...lol. It's already taken me a half a hour to type this little bit because I keep getting interrupted. Imagine that! I wanted to post some of these pictures on the blog to share. I ran out of batteries for my camera so I had to use my camera phone. It doesn't take the best pictures, but hopefully, you'll be able to see them. They're blurry in most cases. Hope you enjoy them! Hope you have a great day! TGIS!!
One of the features I have on my phone gives me the capability to frame pictures with funny scenes. I took a picture of Brianna and put an afro on her. I also took pictures of my mom and another lady I work with, but I didn't post those. I didn't think they would appreciate that...lol.
Isn't she a pretty girl?
I think these pictures were taken last August, just before Jacob's 1st birthday. Look how young he looks.
Brianna on one of her fieldtrips last November.
This is Ella, one of Brianna's many friends at school. She wanted her picture taken too.
This is another friend of Brianna's (Olivia). She saw Ella getting her picture taken and decided it was her turn!
This is one of those pictures I needed proof of or no one would believe me. BOTH kids know they're NOT SUPPOSED to bounce on the bed. I kept hearing bouncing going on in Jacob's room. When I went to check on them, this is what I found. BOTH had climbed into Jacob's crib and were bouncing around. It's amazing this bed didn't collapse, they were bouncing so much! First I took my picture, then I had to get both kids out. Neither could get out...lol. Then they got into trouble because they know better. It was hard for me to keep from laughing! I could barely keep a straight face it was so funny! Discipline isn't very effective if you're laughing while your trying to enforce something.
This is one of Brianna's books that teaches about baby animals in the rain forests. Jacob really likes books about animals. I read him books about animals all the time trying to teach him about them and the sounds they make. Jacob seems to really be drawn to orangutans and gorillas. He will turn to the pages with these particular animals and point to them. He won't make any noise when he points to them. He'll make a funny face though. In this picture, I was asking him to point to the orangutan. Jacob kept pointing to its nose. Looks like he's trying to pick it, doesn't it? lol.
Here's Jacob with his sheet again. He was playing Peek A Boo with me. I kept saying, "Oh no! I can't find Jacob. Where is he?"
He would pull the sheet off of his head and giggle real loud. He'll say, "Hee" (here). Like he's telling me, "Here I am Mommy!"
Aww...he LOVES his sheet!
Brianna with her new spring coat
She wanted me to take a close up shot of her. I have no idea why. Maybe so we could see her coat better? :D
This picture obviously has nothing to do with my kids. This is one of the doctors I work with's snack cabinet. Looks like someone has a bad cheezit addition, doesn't it? It made me chuckle. I ran to get my phone to take a picture. Yes, I'm amused by the simplest and silliest things sometimes. Gotta love me anyway!
Have a great weekend! See you at the next blog post! :D
