Welcome to our side of the fence: Friday 3/19/10

Today is supposed to be the nicest day of the weekend. The temperature is supposed to be around 70 degrees! We'll see how accurate Dave Murray is. :D After Jacob and I picked Brianna up from school, we went to McDonalds for a happy meal then went to the park to play. The kids had a blast! It was such a gorgeous day to be outside. We met another mom there with her little girl who is about a month or so younger than Jacob. They played together very well. I had to keep reminding Brianna to play nice and to be considerate of others. She has a bad habit of not watching where she's going and knocks others down (not intentionally). She also doesn't look before she goes down the slide. She knocked Jacob down a few times. He's just as guilty. While Brianna was on the swings, he walked right underneath her while she was up in the air. She came down right on top of him and knocked him down. He wasn't hurt and didn't cry. He got up and looked at her. I told him that he's to walk AROUND the swings, not UNDER them...lol. I took a lot of pictures while we were at the park today. We even went for a walk. The trail we usually walk on was really soft and rutted. It made it very difficult for me to push the stroller with BOTH kids in it. Due to that, we only walked around once instead of twice. Here are some of the pictures I took today while we were having fun. Beware: I posted ALOT of pictures because it's just so hard to pick only a few!

Now that he's older, he'll walk around the park on his own. I don't have to carry him. YAY!

I wouldn't let him go down this slide. It was too big. If Jack were with us...maybe. I helped him climb to the top (thinking he would slide down) but he got scared. I had to climb up there to get him. I'm not a fan of heights myself so THAT in itself was interesting!

He would stand/sit at the bottom of the slide. I had to make him move so his sister wouldn't knock him over.

WEEEEE!!! I had to move Jacob out of the way so Brianna could come down the slide.

He would get so excited to go down the slide, he'd jump up and down and do a little dance! It was so cute!

I LOVE to go down the slide! It's FUN!

The mom with the little girl brought one of their little doggies with them to the park. Jacob kept pointing to the doggie and saying, "Aug". (That's how he says dog). He kept leaving the playground to visit with her.
