Wednesday 3/17/10 - Cranberry Pomegranate Tea

Like I've said in a previous post, I'm REALLY into pomegranate lately.  It just floats my boat!  I'm always looking for things with this delicious fruit in it to try.  That was when I found this one day (yes, I was at my most favoritest place...Wally World) and decided to try it.  At first, pomegranate scared me because it was something new(to me).  I'm not one to jump on in and try new things.  Not by a long shot.  I'm definately NOT one for change, that's for sure.  You change my little world around me and I'm NOT a happy camper by any means.  I'll kick, scream, fuss and fight with you to change things back to the way they were before.  I think that's the Capricorn in me. :D  Atleast from what I've read in the past.  Anyway, I decided to TRY it.  Oh my goodness!  This is totally nothing short of AWESOMENESS!!  When I say this, I am serious because I am definately NOT a tea drinker.  I actually can't stand tea unless it's brewed w/a little bit of lemon squeezed in it...NO instant tea.  I can't stand sugar in my tea either.  When Jack used to make his tea, I think he would use practically the whole bag of sugar.  Not really, it just tasted that way to me...lol.

Funny story:  One day, after one of our "adventures" to Wally World (that will have to be in another post) we stopped off at none other than Mickey D's to get the kids a happy meal for lunch. I'm sure that's a total shock to you (that's B & J's favorite place to eat) HA HA!  I ordered a DIET DR. PEPPER.  (I put this in capitals for a reason here).  As we were driving away, I put the straw in my drink and took a sip.  YIKES!  What in the heck is this CRAP??  What on earth did they give me?   It tasted like my soda was bad.  I asked Jack to taste it to see if maybe I was crazy.  After he tasted it, he said it was sweet tea.  OMG...that was nothing but N.A.S.T.Y.!!  I can't believe anyone can drink that.  Maybe because, like I've said, I'm NOT a tea drinker.  I'm definately NOT into sugar in my tea either.  GROSS.  Jack's family is all about the sweet tea.  NO THANK YOU.  I'll pass.  Sorry if I offended any of you reading this.  Just my opinion.  :)   Can you imagine the surprise the OTHER person got when they took a sip of their drink expecting sweet tea and got MY diet dr. pepper?  Probably the same reaction...lol.  Oh well.

This was the best picture I could get with this camera of mine.  Sorry about the glare.  This is the Cranberry Pomegranate Tea I was talking about.  It is REALLY good.  I like to drink mine hot instead of coffee sometimes.   If you're a tea drinker, you should try some of this.  It may just float your boat too!
