One activity to do was Feather Paining. They had a few plates with paint on them that the kids could dip feathers in to paint a picture of whatever they wanted.
This was the picture Brianna painted. She had so much fun doing this activity!
They were able to plant tomato seeds to take home. We'll see if ours grow.
Another activity was Mexican Blanket Weaving. It was paper that was weaved to make a mexican blanket. Brianna didn't quite understand how to do this. I had to help her out a little.
There was a table that the kids could make/decorate their own Easter eggs too.
We decided to let Brianna try to color her own egg...
She almost dumped over the color so Daddy had to help her out.
This was what her egg looked like. She was so proud of it! She walked around showing EVERYONE.
Someone brought in Banty Chickens for the kids to pet.
Surprisingly, Brianna wasn't scared of them. She enjoyed petting the little chickens!
This was a picture her teacher, Ms. Becky, took of Brianna petting one of the chickens.
I also took pictures of some of the artwork and projects the kids have done in school. They put it on the wall to decorate and to display for the parents to see. Every season/holiday they decorate something different on this tree. This is one of my favorite things in her classroom!
