I haven't been feeling like myself these past few weeks. Kinda like I've been in some funk that I just can't shake. So, I thought, "I know what will help me out. I'll clean! That ALWAYS makes me feel betta." Yeah, I know...I'm weird that way. So I started out with the kids rooms. I haven't given them a good scrubbin' for quite some time. I even moved furniture (gotta build up my muscles some how). To give Brianna more room to play, I decided to remove her activity table. Besides, maybe it will keep Jacob from using it as a step ladder to reach her blinds. :) Jack suggested that I take pictures of their rooms so we could "remember" what they looked like. It takes, on average, 5 seconds flat for them to ruin all my hard work!
I wanted to remember how clean her floor was. It won't stay that way for long. Usually you can't tell there's a rug here.
No clothes on the floor. They're in the washing machine! I don't know about you, but I hate folding and hanging up clothes. I don't mind washing them (maybe cause I have a machine that does it for me?). This furniture used to be mine when I was little. My mom bought it for me when I was 3 years old. I can remember Sears delivering it. Now that's going WAAY back!
I can see her dresser and chest. No clothes on it and all of her hair accessories are put away.
All of Jacob's toys are put away. Yeah, like this is gonna last 2 seconds when he sees this.
I can see his floor too. Usually I can't see this rug either. It's like a mine field in here. You just about kill yourself to walk thru the door. He doesn't believe in a clean room, I don't think.
There are no clothes on top of his chest and I straightened up his changing table. I can't wait to get rid of that! No changing table = NO DIAPERS!!
I can honestly say I DID feel better once all this was done. It didn't last long though. Their rooms don't look like this anymore and my "funk" is back. BLAH.
