Today, 4 years ago, I had to have an emergency c-section to save Brianna's and my life. I can't believe she's been in our lives for 4 years. Jack and I are so grateful to have her! She is such a joy to be around and enriches our lives everyday with so much happiness. There are no words to describe how proud I am to be this little girl's momma! She is so full of energy and life. I love her more than life itself. Happy Birthday Brianna! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!
I also wanted to let you all know that Brianna's feeling MUCH better today! She's starting to act like her "old" self again. She's been dancing around the room to the music of one of her shows she watches. That's a good sign! Thank you for keeping her in your prayers. Everyone who has called to give well wishes, we appreciate it! Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you!
**Sorry, can you believe I forgot to take pictures today of the birthday girl? I know...UNBELIEVABLE. We are also going to go to Chuck E. Cheese next week. It is raining today and I don't feel it's a good idea to take her out. I don't want to chance her getting something else on top of strep throat.
A few funny things Brianna said today:
*When Brianna woke up this a.m., she noticed it was raining outside. She said, "Mommy, it's raining on my birthday. THAT'S NOT FAIR!" I told her, "Sorry Brianna. You're gonna find out that there's a lot of things in this world that aren't fair."
*When I tucked her in bed tonight she asked me, "Mommy, am I STILL gonna be 4 when I wake up in the morning?" I reassured her that she would be. Her response was, "You mean I'm NOT gonna be 5 in the morning?" lol. Thankfully, no one ages THAT fast! I can remember as a kid NEVER being old enough. There are several of her friends at school who are graduating from Pre-K and moving on to Kindergarten. Brianna wants to go with them so bad! I told her she'll get to go to Kindergarten next year. She said, "But mommy, I wanna go to kindergarten NOW." HAHA! All in due time, little princess. She asked, "I'm not gonna be 3 again, am I?" I told her she would never be 3 again. She said that made her sad. Hmm...just a minute ago she wanted to be 5! Make up your mind, Brianna!
