I can't say that I've always been so "pro" Mary Kay. I've tried it a few times on and off over the years. It was okay, but nothing to write home about. Besides, for a young single person (as I was when I tried it) it was rather pricey. Well, after I met my current Mary Kay consultant a month ago, all that has changed. She has shared some information about this company that I would've never known otherwise. She is different (in a good way) from all the other consultants I've had. She takes the time to educate her clients about each product they're interested in. She cares how they feel about the product, if they like it, don't like it, if it works or not for them, etc. I was really impressed with her. She gives me hope that this venture that I'm taking could have the potential to take off the ground. After giving Mary Kay one more try, I'm glad I did! I'm actually impressed with a lot of their products. The quality is better than I remembered it to be (better than Mabelline, Covergirl, etc) and it last for quite awhile. Since the product quality is better, you don't have to use as much to achieve your goal. That's nice. I know...I was big into going to Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc, to buy my makeup. Yes, I've also bought from Avon too. Mary Kay is more along the lines of Clinique and Estee' Lauder without the hefty price tag. Plus, if you host a party with me, you get great FREE gifts and discounts on a lot of fun products! What girl/woman wouldn't like to try out make up, perfume and skin care products BEFORE they buy? I want to know what I'm getting myself into BEFORE I buy something of any value and price. Nothing is worse than to buy something you think is going to be so wonderful, but turns out to be horrible? That is so disappointing! You've just wasted your money on something you'll never use. If only you could've tried it first. I can't count how many times I've said that AFTER buying makeup and other skin care products. Anyway, I'm not posting any of this as an infomercial...lol. I'm just REALLY excited about becoming a Mary Kay consultant! It's a great way for me to meet new people and I'll get to TRY my makeup on now BEFORE I buy it. What a bonus!
This is what the Mary Kay fairy brought me today! How exciting!!!
