Friday 6/11/10 - Brianna's 4 year check up

Today, Brianna had her 4 year check up at the doctor.  She did very well while we were there.  Here are her stats:  
*She weighs 35.2 lbs . 
*She is 41 3/4 inches tall. 
*She does NOT have a hearing problem!  YAY
*She MAY have the begining stages of asthma  :(

The doctor asked her questions about her eating and sleeping habits.  What she liked to play and about her bathroom habits because she has a history of terrible constipation and if she's potty trained fully (I had to answer these questions for her mostly.  This was the one and only time she decided NOT to talk).  He said that he wasn't concerned about her having a hearing problem.  He said if she had one, her speech would be affected.  We all know THAT isn't so.  This kid has an impressive vocabulary...even for a 4 year old!  He said what he believes is causing the trouble is her terrible allergies and ear wax.  She has such tiny ear canals, it's hard for any fluid and wax to get out.  Every time she's at the doctor, he's always getting out a good amount of wax out of her ears.  YUK.    He was very proud of her!  She even spelled her name for him.  He was quite impressed.   He did say that if we need to use her nebulizer any more than 1-2 times per week, that's too many times.  He said that if we need to use it, he may need to put her on some stronger medicine for her wheezing.  Poor kid.  I also told him that when she runs around, it makes her cough.  At that time, we have to make her sit down for her to stop.  That made him concerned along with her terrible allergies.  We're going to have to keep a close eye on her for now.  I hope she doesn't have asthma.  Please keep her in your prayers that she doesn't...PLEASE!


Brianna sitting on the table waiting for her doctor.  By her request, she wanted to dress up today to go to the doctor.  She is REALLY turning into a girly girl!  Jacob's in the back ground jumping up and down on a stool.  He was a HOLY TERROR today.  OMG.
