Sunday 10/17/10 - Fall Family Fun Day!

Most every year, my work has a Family Fun Day in October for their employees to enjoy with their families.  They always have BBQ, entertainment and a lot of fun things to do for the kids.  This was Jacob's first time going to one.  Last year, they didn't have it in order to save a few bucks.  I'm glad they decided to have it again this year.  We always have so much fun at it!  The weather was beautiful outside, thankfully!  Some years it's been so cold, everyone had to wear their winter coats, some years it was so windy it was terrible.  We also get our family picture taken here every year too.  I'm excited to see how it turns out!  It will be our first one with all four of us!

We had a lot of fun today!

There was a pumpkin patch for the kids to pick out kid size pumpkins!  They both found the one they wanted right away!

There was a guy juggling fire sticks!  Brianna pointed him out.  She said, "Holy cow mommy!  Look how tall THAT guy is!"

There was a station where the kids could decorate canvas bags for Halloween.  This is the one Brianna decorated.  Jacob decorated one too. Both are going to take them out next week to trick or treat with!  She drew a picture of herself holding her bag of candy.

Jacob having a fun time in the bouncing house!

He didn't wanna come out until a bigger kid fell right on top of him.

Brianna had fun too!

This year, instead of pony rides, they had tractor rides.  Both kids really enjoyed it, especially Jacob.  This is right up his alley since he loves tractors!  Atleast the whole family could ride this way.

There were other things to do, but it was so crowded (probably due to the great weather). We had to stand in long lines for everything.  This event is only for 3 hours so we had to make the most of our time.  Brianna wanted her face painted, but the line was so long for that, we wouldn't have had time for anything else.  Maybe next year!
