Welcome to our side of the fence: Sunday 10/31/10

This was the first year all 4 of us were able to go trick or treating. It was really fun and exciting to watch the kids and how they reacted. Jack had just as much fun as the kids did! They got a ton of candy! I tried to teach Jacob how to say, "Trick or treat" when he would go up to a house to get his treat. He would clam up, but hold out his bad to get his goodies. As he would walk away from the house, he'd turn around and say, "TREAT!". He kinda got it by the end of the evening. I tagged along behind everyone to get the pictures. Incase everyone is wondering, I dressed up as a mom this year and Jack dressed up as a Union 520 Operating Engineer. =)

Trick or Treat!

Walking down the sidewalk to the next house! This is so much fun!

Brianna was a pro this year! She knew exactly what to do!

On the other hand, Jacob needed a little help from daddy & mommy. He was too preoccupied with all the decorations!

Some of the houses we went to had so many decorations out! This one particular house had TONS of them! I had to take pictures! This one would laugh an evil laugh and would pull his head off to put it up in the air! Brianna thought that was cool! Jacob was scared of it. I thought that would be the other way around. Go figure!

The same house had a mirror set up also. When you stood in front of it to "see" yourself, a mummy would "appear". It would keep saying, "HELP! Get me outta here! HELP!" Brianna was scared of this at first, but then thought it was funny when Jacob was laughing at it too!

This was the house with all the decorations! I think someone likes Halloween! There were alot of homes that were decorated this year. I was surprised!

Another house had made a tunnel with spider webs. You had to walk thru it to get to the door to get your treat. Brianna was scared to death to walk thru because of all the fake spiders hanging on it. I finally convinced her they weren't real. It was creepy though! She gets her fear of spiders from both her mom and dad. Neither of us like them either. Eewww!!

Cool pumpkins we saw at one house!

I tried all night to get pictures of both kids for my traditional halloween picture. Well, this is it. It's not the best, but it'll have to do. Atleast my little skeleton was looking! My fairy princess was tired and wanted to leave.

Take two: A little better, but I wanted them to stand closer together. So much for that! After looking at this picture on the computer, I can't believe how much he resembles my brother here!
