Saturday 11/13/10 - Santa's Sleigh & Date Night

After Natalie's birthday party, Jack (aka Santa) and I (Mrs. Claus) had plans to go Christmas shopping and to go on a date.  My mom was gracious to come over to watch her wonderful grandkids so Santa and Mrs. Claus could go out for a while.  Thank you Mom!  I love you for helping us out!   The birthday party lasted longer than planned so our evening got started later.  We had to bust a move to get everything done!


Looks like Santa's sleigh is full to the brim of things for good girls and boys!  We found so many awesome things for the kids, it was hard to stop!  They're gonna have such an awesome Christmas this year!  Thank goodness for layaway!  I have yet to put anything on credit for Christmas.  I think that's ridiculous to do that.  If you can't afford it, then you DON'T need it.  We got rid of all our credit cards so that's why we shop at places that have a layaway option.

After our shopping adventure, Santa & Mrs. Claus were starving!  We went to our favorite restaurant...RED LOBSTER!!  They had Lobster Nachos on the menu for a limited time.  We HAD to try them.  OMG...were those heavenly!!  YUM!!

We also had to get our regular appetizer...Jumbo Coconut Shrimp.  By no means, am I a fan of coconut, but these are to die for.  I don't know if it's the sweet dipping sauce or what.  They make my tummy soooo happy!!

Anyone who's familiar with Red Lobster, knows all about these little beauties...cheddar biscuits!  Who could forget about these? 

Santa told me to put my camera down, stop taking pictures of our food, and eat!  We had a few drinks and a delicious dinner!  It was a great date night!  We enjoyed ourselves!  We have to take advantage of it when we can, it's not very often we get a date night!   Sometimes an evening like this is needed to recharge our batteries!  Even if it is for only a few hours.  :)
