Sunday 2/13/11 - FINALLY!!

Since our weather was supposed to be nice today, I promised the kiddos we'd go to the park so they could ride their new bikes they got  for Christmas.  When we got to the park, majority of the pavement still had slush, snow and some ice on it.  We weren't able to ride our bikes there.  Jack thought the grade school in town should be cleared of snow so we decided to take the kiddos there.  What a great idea!  Their driveway had to be cleared due to all the kids and the school buses so we were able to ride our bikes after all!  YAY!!  We spent atleast a hour up at the grade school riding bikes!  They both had a blast!

Jack was trying to help Jacob learn how to pedal.  He knows how to do it on his tricycle, but he can pedal backwards on it.  He kept trying to pedal backwards on his bike and would apply the brake instead.  He couldn't understand why he wouldn't go anywhere!

Still not getting the hang of it...he REALLY tried hard.

Daddy helped him out by pulling him along...

This lil lady had a blast riding her bike!  She was a pro!

She whizzed around the parking lot!  I had to warn her to slow down a few times.  She almost tipped over she was going so fast!

This little guy also liked to turn his handle bars the wrong way.  Don't ask...

I kept telling him he had the handle bars turned the wrong way.  He didn't care.

There ya go, Buddy!  That's the right way!

Brianna had to stop to put "gas" in her bike...lol.  Yes, she has quite the imagination!

She wanted to ride her brother's bike.

Look how big she looks on it!  She had a difficult time pedalling because her legs were too long!

Since his sister was riding his bike, he wanted to try to ride hers.   Only his legs weren't long enough!

This is what riding bikes for the afternoon does...POOPS a little boy out!!
