Sunday 2/20/11 - SURPRISE!!!

This is mostly the reason for me being M.I.A. lately.  I've been feeling like poo for the past several weeks because I'm pregnant!  It was a HUGE surprise & it shocked the hell out of us, but we feel blessed anyway.   I haven't felt like doing much of anything these past few months.  It's all I can do to go to work everyday.  In the evening, I'm lucky if I can stay awake til 7pm!  The nausea and exhaustion has been pretty bad, but it's letting up some.  We found out about our upcoming bundle of joy a few days before Christmas.  What a present! 

Today (exactly) I am 13 weeks!   I am due at the end of August...TWO days AFTER Jacob's birthday, to be exact.  Now how's that for timing?   My doctor and I are working out a plan to where I won't have this baby on Jacob's birthday.  NOT COOL (in my opinion).  We're praying for a healthy baby, first and foremost.   We'll find out what we're having in April.  After that, I'm getting rid of the opposite stuff...FOR GOOD!!  My basement looks like a baby retail shop...lol.   That will be in time for yardsales this spring...WOO HOO!!  Fortunately, I didn't get rid of much of anything.  I did sell some things last year, but none of the big, expensive things.   Something told me to hang onto for a while longer.  I'm glad I listened!  Baby stuff is soooo expensive!   I doubt if I'll be getting a baby shower for the third child in 5 years...lol.  :) 

Without further adue...here's our newest little peanut!

The head is over to the left.  The little dots by the little nose are the little fingers (looks like this baby will have my nose too...YAY!!)!  Everytime the tech kept trying to get a picture of the face, lil peanut kept putting his/her hand up like he/she was saying, "STOP!  NO PICTURES PLEASE!!  OUTTA HERE!"  When I heard the heart beat for the very first time and saw our baby move, it brought tears to my eyes!  It makes everything that much more real.  It puts a lot of things in perspective for me!  I have someone else depending on me for EVERYTHING!!  I love being a mom!  :)
