Friday 7/1/11 - Playin' at the Park

Today, we went to the park to play for a little bit.  It was supposed to be a hot one, so we went early to try to beat the heat.  We played for about 30 minutes before the heat got to be too much.  We left to eat lunch at Mickey D's then went to the store.  I took pictures of them playing on the playground.  They had so much fun, they didn't want to leave!


They both liked playing in the little tunnel.  They said it was cooler and shadier than standing out in the sun.

They hung around in here for several minutes to cool off.

She loved swinging just before she's slide down the slide!

This little guy loved sliding down the slide!  I didn't know a butterfly flew in the picture just as I took it!  See it by Jacob's head?! 

The sun was in his eyes.

They climbed up the stairs to get to the slide several times!  Brianna ALWAYS had to be first. =)  She said it was because she was OLDER than her little brother.  Nice how she always has to point that out to him.  He'll get to point it out to his baby sister when she gets here.  Haha!

WEEEEEEE!!!

Looks like he's going down in slow motion, doesn't it?

He watched his sister swing here before she would slide down the slide, so naturally, he had to do it too. 

Every so often, we would take a break in the shade to cool off.  It got hot quick today!

We also made sure to bring plenty of cool water to drink.  Playing at the park makes ya thirsty!
