On tuesday of this week, I had my 34 week ultrasound to see how baby sister's doing. The doctor says so far so good! This is my 5th ultrasound with this doctor from the 12th week to now. I'm thankful to GOD each time that every single one has turned out good. Everything is going as it should be. I will have one last ultrasound sometime during my 37th week to be sure everything is still going well. The high risk doctor is convinced that I will not last to 38 weeks. My regular OB says that everything is fine and as long as everything stays in check, I shouldn't have a problem going to 39 weeks. I hope he's right, not the high risk doctor. Yesterday I had my weekly appointment with my regular OB & my NST. I was told that the baby still looks great, all of my blood pressure & blood sugar readings have been really good, I have practially no swelling, there is no sugar or protein in my urine, etc. He said as long as all of this remains stable, he sees no reason why I can't go to 39 weeks. I told him that as long as I can wait until AFTER the 17th of August, if at all possible, that I didn't care when I had this baby. I told him this was Brianna's 1st day of Kindergarten and I didn't want to miss it. He said he'll see what he can do...lol. Anyway, I have an ultrasound picture of baby girl's face. You'll have to tilt your head to the side a bit, but you should be able to see her! Jack and I compared her ultrasound picture to the very first "real" picture of Jacob right after he was born. Holy smokes! They look a lot a like! I've had so many ultrasounds done, I'm surprised I can't read them by now. :D With out further a due...here's a picture of baby sister!
She has her little hands on her right cheek like she's sleeping! The white dot in the middle of the picture is her nose. Tilt your head to the right a bit and you should be able to see her face. She already looks adorable to me! Brianna said she's more excited to meet her new baby sister than she is to go to kindergarten!
