Friday 4/9/10 - Ever have one of THESE nights?

Tonight, I had run outta steam.  I didn't feel like cooking anything.  I was tired...run ragged.  All you mommas out there can relate to what I'm sayin', I'm sure.  So, I conned my hubs into getting one of these...A PIZZA!  Pizza is my absolute FAVORITE!  I worked at Imo's for over 6 years and NEVER, I mean NEVER, EVER, EVER got tired of it.  Imo's is my favorite pizza by a landslide though.  It's a little pricey, but soooo worth it! 


I don't know if any of you out there have had a Casey's pizza before.  I don't know how many of you even know what Casey's is, for that matter.  It's a country gas station that makes pizzas, hamburgers, etc.  Now, I'm sure some of you are thinkin', "A gas station that has pizza?  You've GOT to be joking!  How good can a pizza from a GAS STATION be?"  I thought that when I first heard about pizza being made in a gas station.  It took me several years to work up the nerve to finally try it.  Once I did, I was hooked!  First off, let me start by saying I'm a pizza connoisseur.  I am VERY picky about my pizza.  Not all pizza is created equal, that's for sure.  If anyone can sniff out a great pizza 3 counties away, it's me.  You wanna know where to find a great pizza, I'm your gal.   I will tell you, Pizza Hut and Domino's don't count.  Is that REALLY considered pizza?  Not in my book.  No thanks, I'll pass.  I'm not a fan of  thick crust by any means either.  If I want a loaf of bread with toppings on it, then I'll make one out of a loaf of bread.  I love my crust crispy and cracker thin.  YUMMY!  Casey's pizza is not cracker thin, but it's thin enough.  It is soooo cheesy and they put a lot of toppings on it!  You won't need to bother asking for extra anything.  How can you turn down anything that has a cheesy, golden topping?  Sorry, but I can't.  :D

Jack LOVES their Sausage & Pepperoni.  You won't find a single veggie on here!  Like THAT'S a surprise...lol. 

Now, I'm a sucker for their supreme pizzas.  I also like their taco pizza too.  Just between you and me, I REALLY get the veggies put on my pizza to keep Jack outta mine!  SSHHH!!  That' s our little secret.  ;p  Don't pay any attention to that Elmer's glue bottle over in the corner.  I had to dig down deep in my junk drawer to find my Casey's menu!  Didn't want you to think I put glue on my pizza.  LOL.  Please tell me I'm not the only one with a junk drawer.  Actually, I have so much junk, I have two!

So, if this doesn't make you wanna hop in the car and pick up a Casey's pizza, then I don't know what will.  You really should try it sometime, if you have one close by.  I usually call mine in on the way home from work to pick up for dinner.  Brianna and Jacob actually LOVE this pizza!  That should tell you something.  My kids are picky!  You're hungry now, aren't ya?  Sorry, bout that.  I need to excuse myself to go wipe the drool off my keyboard.
