Friday 4/9/10 - Nanook of the North meets spring

This little girl is so silly!  She totally cracks me up.  She can be so serious, but funny at the same time without realizing it.  This is one of the qualities she has that I love so much!  She gets this from my wonderful husband, Jack.  He has such a great sense of humor.  I can be in such a horrible, sour puss kinda mood and he knows just how to snap me out of it.  Sometimes I make him work a little, but he's about the only one who can make me laugh.  Oh, and then there's Brianna! 

Today, it was warm enough for her to wear shorts.  She came strutting out of her room wearing her winter coat, her daddy's sunglasses and flip flops!  I asked her why she was wearing her winter coat?  She said that she was cold (we had the windows opened so it wasn't cold in our house by any means).  I told her that we should put pants on her instead of shorts.  Her reply was, "NO WAY JOSE'!"  I don't know of anyone who's been more excited that spring is here than this little girl.   I told Jack that she reminded me of Nanook of the North, but with shorts!  I had to get a picture of this for my memory bank!
