Saturday 4/3/10 - Time to celebrate!

I'm so excited about going to Red Lobster tonight!  This is Jack and my favorite place to eat.  We usually go there twice a year.  Once to celebrate both our birthdays and once to celebrate our anniversary.  Jack and I don't get many "date" nights per se.  Grandma and Grandpa Parker watched our little monkeys for us so we could have a few hours of "kid free" time.  It's always weird without our kids, no matter where we go.  None the less, we still enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful dinner.  Tonight we went to our most favoritest place (how Brianna says this) in the whole wide world to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary.  Our "official" day is actually tomorrow, but since it falls on Easter, we decided to celebrate a little early.   I took a few pictures of our date...well, actually of our food, but you'll get the drift.

This is my most favorite drink...The Lobsterita.  It's a monster margarita!  I hafta get one every time I go.  For $8.00 a pop for one of these babies, you know they've gotta be good!  On a good day I can drink 3 of these.  Jack practically has to carry me out of the restaurant, but I can still drink 'em!  LOL.   Sorry Ang, I didn't try a long island ice tea.  Jack said he didn't think I could handle it.  I think he was right!  I stuck to my "usual".

This is what Jack drank.  It's a beer, but not what you're thinkin'.  It's a ROOT beer.  Jack hasn't drank any liquior in over 3 years.  He said he doesn't have the taste for it anymore.   I know...WHOOS!!!

We lucked out and went during this time...YUM! YUM!  You'd betta hurry...Lobsterfest ends April 19th.  Ooohh...do I have time to go once more?  Man, how I love this place...(I'm drooling)

This is what I ordered.  Lobster tail, crab and shrimp scampi.  I thought I died and went to heaven!  I ordered the same thing as what was on the front of the menu.  It looked even better in person! (You'll have to excuse me for a minute.  I have to hunt down a towel to wipe off my keyboard...I'm droolin' all over!)

Jack ordered some type of alfredo dish that had shrimp, crab and lobster in it.  He said it's his favorite.

I swear this man salts EVERYTHING.  He says he doesn't, but he does.  He'll even salt mac and cheese.  He thought I was absolutely nuts for taking pictures while we were there.  He said I was making him feel like a movie star with all the pictures I was taking...lol.  He should know by now...I take pictures for the blog.  I have to amuse you people some how.

We had a a great date night celebrating our anniversary.  There was no other place on earth that I'd rather be, that night, than with my wonderful hubby.  I love you, Jack, so very much!  Thank you for all you do for our family!  I don't know what I'd ever do without you.  Now...when are we gonna go back?  Next January/February?  Yeah, that's what I thought.  It was worth a try!
