Friday 5/13/11 - School Birthday Party!!

At Pre-School, most children bring a treat for their class when it's their birthday.  Since Brianna's birthday is Sunday, she wanted to bring cupcakes and fruit snacks today to celebrate hers.  Everything brought into the school (food wise) has to be store bought. They won't accept anything homemade anymore. There is also a child in her school who has a severe peanut allergy as well.  Fortunately, they're not in her class so we don't have to be as careful.  Her teacher told me that this child just walked past a trash can with peanut butter in it and began to swell up!  Thankfully, neither of my children have any food allergies (that we're aware of).  Hopefully the 3rd one won't either. 


Brianna's teacher told me there were 24 kids in her class so we wanted to be sure to get enough for everyone.  I bought a few cupcakes for the little ladies in her classroom.  They had Rapunzel rings on them from the movie "Tangled".  Sorry this picture is kinda foggy.  I had just taken these cupcakes out of the fridge prior to taking my picture.

These cupcakes were for the boys.  They had Iron Man rings on them!  I was told they were a hit!  The boys apparently are REALLY into Iron Man.  Who knew?

Brianna told me she wanted to bring Scooby-Doo fruit snacks too.  I had to get a large box and a smaller box to have enough for everyone. 

Brianna said everyone LOVED her treats she brought for her birthday!  Having a birthday party when you're a kid is always so much fun!
