Today, I had to go for my 30 week ultrasound. I usually get one every 4 weeks or so to make sure all is well and the baby is growing like she should be. The tech doing the ultrasound always gives me a few pictures for my scrapbook & to share with family. Today, the tech pointed out that our little gal has hair! No wonder I've been having heart burn! :D I wanted to post the picture of it for you all to see...
Just to the right of the word "HAIR" you'll see white fuzzy stuff. That's our baby girl's hair! I could also see Brianna's on her ultrasounds too. Brianna had a full head of hair! Jacob didn't have quite as much. We'll see how this little lady compares to her older siblings when she arrives!
As for the ultrasound, all looks great! The baby weighs about 3 lbs 15 oz (at this point), which is about one week ahead of where she should be. The doctor told me she was in the 70th percentile for her growth. I was reassured that's still in the "normal" range. With Jacob, he showed THREE weeks ahead...lol. He's STILL a big boy! He's the size of a 3 1/2 - 4 year old! Brianna was slightly bigger than what she should've been, but not by much. It worked out to her advantage in the end since she was born 5 weeks early. Yes, I grow my babies big, apparently! The doctor came in after the ultrasound to explain the results. She said everything is growing and developing the way it should be. She didn't see anything on the ultrasound what so ever that concerned her in the least. My next ultrasound appointment is at the 34 week marker. Hopefully things will continue to go well! I feel so close, yet so far away from my "goal". :) With daily prayers and help from the good guy upstairs, I'll get through all this chaos! My fingers are crossed!
